Beautiful day out here in the eastern Long Island.

I'm a Gansett, Montauk.

It's absolutely beautiful, but I am a little bit, I shouldn't say distracted,

but this day is always a hard day.

For anyone that was on the NYPD, FD, FDNY, FBI, Port Authority, Police, EMS, anyone who was a first responder on 9-11-01.

And as we know, this is the 23rd year anniversary. And when I, you know, I watched a little bit, just about a minute of all the family members reading the names of the people that lost their lives that day.

And it's so heartbreaking because it's 23 years.

Some of the kids, or they shouldn't say kids, anyone that was just

born around that time that may have never met their father are over 23 years old now.

But there are other descendants.

Chris, hello, how you doing? People starting to come into the chat.

And it's just heartbreaking to hear it that after 23 years, 9-11 will always be an open wound.

It will be an open wound for all the

people that responded, because every cop that I know on the NYPD knows one of the officers.

Even if you didn't know them intimately as a friend, you worked with them, you went on jobs with them.

And the realization that it could have been any one of us, any one of us that responded down there, we all, any one of us could have lost our lives.

And you think of, well, why was ice-paired and the 23 NYPD offices weren't in the 343, 343 FDNY

fire department, city of New York that lost their lives that day.

And I don't want to forget the Port Authority.
