We're outbound for Jupiter with the Jupiter icy moons explore, except Bob, what is the issue?

The icy moons explore its name. Its acronym is Juice, that's what they call it.

It was launched a few months ago.

Having launched, they've discovered that the 52 foot radar antenna has not deployed correctly.

This is not the communications antenna.

This is an antenna that will be used to do observations of the icy moons of Jupiter.

These are the big Galilean moons, cholesterol, Europa, and Ganymede.

All of which are thought to possibly have underwater, underground oceans.

But that antenna is not deploying.

They think a tiny pin may be protruding and preventing deployment.

They have eight years before they get Jupiter to fix this.

They're trying a bunch of different things.

They're going to see if they can shake it free.

They're hoping when they fly by the Earth in the year or so, that maybe the gravity fly by they can shake it free.

This should be a tragedy.

Even though it's got other instruments to do observations, the radar instrument is its number one instrument.
