So Mark Ein, who's one of the minority owners of the commanders, joined Kevin Sheehan on his

podcast over the weekend. And he had an interesting nugget on the commander's stadium search, and I'm taking this from Jake Russell's Twitter.

He's a Washington Post sports writer.

Moving into a new stadium could take seven to nine years with 2030 likely being the early end of a move-in date for the commanders into

wherever their new digs wind up being.

And I also reemphasize that rebranding isn't the top priority

currently and adds that rebranding is quote a really big lift way bigger than people understand which is what I've always

say talking about rebranding away from commanders to potentially right and what was your

prediction two years mine Mine is by the beginning.

By the beginning, I believe in the 2027 season.

I believe Kakes is going to be a big loser.

I think you would be a big loser on that one.

I could be, that's fine.

If I do, if I lose a bet, won't't be the first time certainly won't be the last yeah it's up yeah

so what's more upsetting to you the fact that the rebrand is way on the back burner and is a massive lift as they say or

the fact that they're not going to move into a new stadium for seven to ten years.

The fact that the rebrand is not a higher priority. That's bigger new, That's what brought you more.

I just feel like the stadium, I mean, we're already halfway through 2024.

And there's, there hasn't been a site picked. You know there's no designs of the state there. There's nothing. They got nothing right now.

I mean it's a six to seven year process. To me, them moving in and breaking, you know, like playing their first game in a new stadium in

2030 or 31 32 whatever did that that sounds like about the right sort of timeline
