Okay, so I just want to make sure that's clear that the tricky thing is we do want to talk

about this stuff because nobody else talks about it. Like in our culture, when you turn to a radio

station, like we want to talk about important things in addition to the usual goofy things as well.

There are no experts when it comes to this.

Well, there's one.

And we worship him.

He's awesome.

I wonder when it happened that we decided, you and me and everybody else in our culture, decided that if we don't get our desires fulfilled, then God's just not pulling up his end of the bargain. It's just not fair. Like he's supposed to not only allow us to do whatever we want and fulfill every desire, but if he doesn't, then maybe he doesn't even exist. It's really weird. And we're all that way too. I'm not just pointing fingers, just kind of like, if I have something I want,

and I pray about it, and then I don't get it, like, wow, that's not fair.

Forgetting that perhaps God has a bigger mind than I do, just perhaps throwing that out there

and has my best interests at heart and I can actually trust him. But no, it's like, no, I'm supposed

to get what I want. I don't know when we decided that was going to be the reality. Yeah, what do you

think about that? I'm just wondering. I was just talking about how it seems like we think, we got

this idea in our heads that we have desires, things we want, and if God doesn't allow us to fulfill them or give us what we want, then we hold it against them or something.

Because I think we have to settle in our hearts, and it's difficult that he's good, that he's good. We don't trust him when it gets right down to it.

We don't trust that he has our best interests.

I think that's right.

And the prodigal son's story is, you know, he leaves the house because of the boundaries, right?
