And I'm Jake Sherman. The day is finally here. Senate Republicans are expected to release their Obamacare replacement bill today.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has already started his sales job. The Kentucky Republican has started meeting with industry groups to preview the bill.

The Washington Post got a draft copy of the bill and found that it would curtail Medicaid funding,

repeal taxes on the wealthy, and eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood.

Our colleagues have a story up on how the Senate health care bill could show the limits of Trump's sway on Capitol Hill.

While Trump is whipping votes, he has much less influence in the Senate

than in the House. And things could get tricky fast. Sungman Kim has a piece up on how the

Republicans could go nuclear on the Obamacare repeal if Democrats try to use stalling and delay tactics.

Playbook producer Zach Montalara was on the scene last night covering the bad news babes

as they beat members of Congress 2 to 1 in the annual Congressional Women Softball game.

The biggest moment of the night was when Crystal Griner, one of the Capitol Police

officers injured in last week's shooting, throughout the first pitch just after being released

from the hospital. The game raised more than $290,000 for the Young Survival Coalition,

a charity that supports young women diagnosed with breast cancer. President Donald Trump was outdoing

what he loves best, celebrating Republican wins in a pair of special elections at a campaign

rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In his speech, Matt Nussbaum reports that Trump defended his

administration,

castigated the press, mocked Democrats, boasted of his achievements, and praised his supporters.

One new idea he floated, creating a solar wall as a way to help pay for a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Trump also defended wealthy aides like top economic advisor Gary Cohn and Commerce Secretary

Wilbur Ross, saying that he doesn't want a poor person in those particular jobs.
