Hi friends. I am Annie F Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first

four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

These are the stories of Jesus Christ life on Earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles.

Each month we get to read all four books, so if you get a chance to rate and review the show,

it helps so much, it gets these episodes in front of our

friends, gets people to hear the Bible that may not know it. And this summer as people are

hanging around and spending more time by the pool or commuting, going on trips, What a great thing for them to get to listen to.

I'll read three chapters to you today. You can listen or read along in your own Bible or online and then I will pray and that is it.

So today is June 20th day 20 of this month I'll be reading John chapters 14 through 16.

And this month I'm reading from the NRSV.

John 14.

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.

In my father's house there are many dwelling places.

If it were not so, what I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you I will come

again and will take you to myself so that where I am there you may be also.

And you know the way to the place where I am going. Thomas said to him, Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?

Jesus said to him, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. If you know me you will know my

father also from now on you do know him and have seen him. Philip said to him, Lord

show us the father and we will be satisfied.

Jesus said to him, have I been with you all this time, Philip, and you still do not know
