Let's talk about vitalism. Let's talk about the problem of modern

conservatism. I hate even to say the word and the right and I want to start with something that happened

as we were recording before we were recording this day this week Michael Brendan Doherty was talking about Mitt Romney and the fact

that he voted for one article of impeachment.

And so he said, just remember,

an extraordinary jester,

Romney argued that Trump was totally unfit

for the presidency and then interviewed to be his Secretary of State, the famous picture that we're all aware of,

these great moral stands, says Doherty, have an unbelievably short shelf life.

And so all of a sudden, Ross doubted comes in,

you know, not an enemy, someone we respect and he says a willingness to interpose

yourself between the unfit president and American foreign policy isn't a

betrayal of any moral standard.

And then, unfortunately for Ross, actually, David French comes in and he says,

agreed, Ross.

And, you know, then I just, you know, whatever my own two cents,

I had to get in and just say, let me get this straight the honorable thing to do because

MIT is honorable this week among all the people who think he's honorable and Brutus is an. Yes, Brutus is a very honorable man.
