Well, you know, small news over the weekend

as President Joe Biden announced his decision to end his

2024 re-election campaign emphasizing that stepping down is in the best

interest of the Democratic Party and the country. He immediately endorsed a Vice President Kamala Harris as his successor, urging

Democrats to unite behind her to defeat former President Trump.

This unprecedented move has led to a scramble within the Democratic Party to nominate a new candidate.

Harris, although a frontrunner, faces potential competition from other Democratic leaders.

Biden assured that he would continue to serve as president until the end of his term.

That is good news.

Joe Biden did a remarkable thing.

You, we shouldn't minimize that.

You very seldom associate politicians with selflessness or wisdom or grace or courage.

And yesterday, Joe Biden displayed all of those things after spending the weekend looking

over numbers that suggested that he could not win the campaign, and deciding that it was in the best interest of the party and the country to drop out of the race.
