Summary

Episode 261 features astrologers Kelly Surtees, Austin Coppock, and Chris Brennan giving an overview of the astrological forecast for July of 2020. The astrology of July features Mars starting its long transit through Aries, Saturn moving back into Capricorn, a lunar eclipse in Capricorn, and Mercury squaring Mars most of the month. We begin the episode by reviewing the astrology of the second quarter of the year, focusing on Saturn's ingress into Aquarius where it began squaring Uranus, which should give us some preview of what Saturn's return to Aquarius will look like in December and after. Two of the main transits of July are Saturn retrograding back into Capricorn and Mars beginning its long six month journey through Aries, which in many ways brings us back to some of the same themes and energies that were present in the first quarter of the year. Tensions are heightened in July though, as a side effect of the second half of the Mercury retrograde period is that Mercury will be squaring Mars pretty closely for most of the month. At the same time we begin the month with the second of three Jupiter-Pluto conjunctions in Capricorn, as well as the final lunar eclipse taking place in Capricorn. 0:25.0	what we're going to do is we're going to spend the first hour or so reviewing the astrology of the past several weeks and especially the last quarter since this is the end of the second
0:36.3	quarter of 2020 and then in about an hour or so we're going to jump into looking in detail at the astrology of July.

0:58.0	Otherwise, let's get into it. So we wanted to frame this episode partially by breaking the year up into
1:05.2	quarters, into the four quarters, which consist of three months each. So we just completed the second quarter of 2020 and now we're moving into the third quarter of the year,
1:20.0	which will consist of July, August, and September.
1:23.4	So why don't we start by doing a little bit of review
1:27.2	having just finished the second quarter?
1:29.2	Does that sound good or sound appropriate to you guys?
1:32.4	Yeah, and it's especially appropriate because the very first thing that
1:36.2	happens in July on July 1st is that Saturn moves back into Capricorn and so we had this preview period of Saturn and Aquarius almost exactly
1:48.0	encapsulating the second quarter. And so there is, know that the the quarterly the quarterly division always
1:56.1	makes some sense but it makes extra sense this year and that's something we
1:59.7	talked about a lot in our yearly ahead was like we get this preview period of
2:05.0	Saturn Aquarius almost exactly in closing Q2 and we're leaving that so a lot
2:12.4	has happened and you know it's worth thinking about both
