1:30.9	world's most advanced countries. Far from having flattened the COVID-19 curve, it
1:36.2	is watching cases spike in several popular states and Dr. Anthony Fauci
1:40.8	recommended this week that these places seriously look at shutting down their
1:46.2	economies again. Meanwhile in other rich countries as diverse as Germany, South
1:51.6	Korea and even Spain and Italy, the number of new cases plummeted months ago and
1:57.0	has stayed low. America is still exceptional but no longer in a good sense. In
2:04.7	order to understand why this is happening, let's start by examining something
2:08.2	America got right, economic stimulus. In March in April, despite the most
2:13.7	polarized climate since the civil war, Congress provided $2.4 trillion in
