Hello everybody, welcome to Inside the Huddle. I'm your host, Neil Reynolds, joined as ever by my partner, Jeff Reinbold. We're back after I lazily took a week off

and went to the Isle of Wight. And Jeff, I got in the water quite a bit. I was doing a bit

of bodyboarding and I need some advice from you because I know you're a champion surfer and

paddleboarder and everything. So sometimes

I would catch a wave and it would take me all the way until I'm halfway up the sand. Other

times it wouldn't do anything. And then other times I'd go like about six foot and then stop.

When do I start jumping? I don't know when I'm supposed

to go. That's a big problem for me and it's so hit and miss. Oh, timing into the wave.

Okay, here's how the, here's how the physics of it work, right? You have to be traveling at the

same speed as the wave when you, when you get into the

wave or it won't pick you up. So if you're not going at the same speed that the wave's

traveling, then the wave won't pick you up. That would explain it because me just lazily

lobbing myself onto the board.

And hoping for the best.

So give it a little bit of something when I get on it next time, right?
