I'm joined by John Horn of the Los Angeles Times by phone. John, as we record this,

has been taking a break from the slopes, right, John?

Sounds fun. So our friends at Sony are trying an interesting experiment. They are going to offer you a bargain, a bargain, John, on two of their recent releases.

This is a little bit like shopping at big lots, where it's not quite the quality of merchandise you'll find at Target, but at the next stop down, they have decided to sell the tourist

and how do you know for download on Amazon.com and iTunes for $13, which is $2 cheaper than

it would cost to buy the DVD itself.

Now, and the idea here is supposedly that Sony is fishing for a way to sell more downloads
