What's up, FTS Nation, and welcome to another episode of Surviving the Survivor,

the podcast that promises to bring you the very best guests in all of true crime and the care and retrial. It ain't

over till it's over and it ain't over yet. So yesterday of course we had closing arguments in this case.

Jurors began to deliberate late afternoon Tuesday. They went all day to day at about

3.39 to be precise.

Judge Beverly Canone got a note from the jurors.

One of them had to catch a bus around four,

so they left early for the day and therefore deliberations will continue tomorrow for

those who've been living under a turtle shell let's use that metaphor. It's fitting here. This is a story about

Boston police officer John O'Keefe. He was found dead outside the home in Canton, Massachusetts of another police officer at 34 Fairview

Road.

And this case has really split the state of Massachusetts and people beyond.

Some people believe that Karen Reed

hit and struck John O'Keefe that night killing him.

Many others believe it is a so-called cover-up by these law enforcement officers who then

attacked John O'Keefe after hitting a local watering hole and ultimately killing him.

So right now the jury is trying to figure out after hearing all the evidence over a nine-week

trial about what happened.
