Summary

This is part 2 of a 2-part story. This story For Joyce Dixson-Haskett, life had hit a fork in the road. She’d just been released from the hospital after receiving a brutal beating. 0:34.0	When we left off, Joysticks and Haskett had just been brutally beaten.
0:37.0	Three men with pool sticks took turns hitting her.
0:40.0	Hitting her so hard that one stick broke,
0:42.0	and she thought that was the end of it, but it wasn't.
0:47.4	He called for another stick.
0:50.4	He started to beat me with that stick.
0:53.4	I remember going down.
0:56.1	I couldn't see but I could hear.
0:59.5	And I heard someone say, you have to kill her. You can't take her to the hospital because they're going to ask too many questions.
1:11.0	Those men did bring her to a hospital.
1:13.0	Sort of.
1:15.0	They wrapped her up in a blanket and dropped her at the loading dock at the hospital.
1:18.0	She would be found three hours later.
1:20.0	The attack was so bad that it took her 13 days to recover.
1:25.0	So when I got ready to leave, guess who they released me to?
1:30.0	To him.
1:32.0	And I couldn't take it anymore.
1:38.0	So I decided that my only way out was to kill him.
