0:14.1	And in this study, journeying through scriptures, we will take a brief big-picture look at every book of the Bible, tracing God's unfolding story from Genesis to Revelation.

0:39.7	We know very little about this man.
0:41.5	Oh, we know the name of his father.
0:42.9	We know that he lived in Judah.
0:46.0	But outside of that, nothing more is known of him.
0:52.8	His name is such a common name that it's used for at least 12 different people in the Bible.
0:57.1	And yet, this man was led of the Holy Spirit to pin one of the most amazing prophetical books
1:00.8	in the Old Testament.
1:01.8	His name is Joel.
1:03.9	We're journeying through Joel today.
1:05.6	Joel's name means Jehovah is God,
1:08.0	and indeed, he is God.
1:10.1	Many people believe that he may be the oldest of the writing
1:12.9	prophets and if indeed that's true it's possible that this man Joel could have actually known
1:18.8	people like Elijah or Elisha. He would have come back that far. This is an ancient message with a very
1:26.4	present day application.
1:28.7	I want to read to you one verse, and I want you to hear it with your heart.
1:32.8	It's Joel chapter 2 and verse number 13.
1:35.7	The Bible says, and rend your heart and not your garments,
