sure at least in part about a book that is at least 10 years old intellectualizing pop culture is

absolutely my sweet spot so I I could not resist reaching out but I do and I do want to talk to you

about the book but I have many questions about the more contemporary issues you are covering on the daily

poster and elsewhere and congratulations by the way I gather today the daily poster has moved to a new home

that I gather is this the harbinger of a brighter future yes yes we have just launched our new website is part

of our big expansion plan we've had such subscriber growth that we are able to start hopefully hiring more

journalists to do more reporting hold more politicians accountable and have more politicians be mad at us that's the

idea right well I'm really really glad as somebody who's just sort of transitioning out I was working for serious

XM less than a year ago and now I'm in the patreon and podcasting world so I I understand where where you

aren't I'm very very happy to hear that there is an audience I'm happy to know that there's an audience for

that and I'm happy to know that you are finding personally an audience for that as well so here's the way I

want to talk about a bunch of things I found myself arriving at the same place over and over in thinking of

issues I wanted to run past you I am the sort of person who can often find myself paralyzed by seeing both

sides of an issue and in thinking about the stuff I wanted to talk to you about I realized that in many
