I think if Joshua knew what we knew, he shouldn't have asked that question because he would have known the reason for the Lord's.

Verse 10 is interesting.

You know, the Lord said to Joshua, get up.

You don't really expect the Lord to say, stop praying.

Prayer is not what you need to do right now.

What you need to do is deal with the sin.

It's an interesting kind of, you know, development here that what they need is not Joshua's prayer. What they need is to deal with the sin that they, that has been committed.

In other words, we talked about Israel sort of victorious, right? Israel, they conquered the people

of Jericho. Today, we're going to cover Joshua chapter 7 and 8, two chapters. And basically

what we're going to get here is we have a rise of Israel, a fall of Israel, and then a rise again of Israel, from the height of victory, as we saw

last episode, to the depths of defeat, to the heights of victory again. It's like a death

and resurrection. It's like the Golden State Warriors from 2014 to 2022, you know. Both of those
