Well, I guess I'm being brought slightly kicking and screaming into this, but maybe that's because I'm scared.

Kate has gotten me to read a number of now of what are called horror books.

I still don't like the nomenclature. I would

call them dark fiction or books of dread, maybe. But the authors make a good case for them,
