so I'm glad you're with me. We're going to bring you an interview I did that is just, wow, unlike anything I've ever done

on a mental health podcast before.

I mean, in this line of work, you get used to the idea of meeting some unusual people, people

who work in kind of unique ways in their heads.

And I certainly have met a lot of people, but this guy, my gosh.

I interviewed him a few weeks ago, and we're going to roll the tape now.

Yeah. Gabe, let's just roll that tape. We might not think much about people who are not clinically depressed, people out there who have no mental disorders at all.

Regular people who sometimes feel sad or nervous, but it doesn't rise to the level

of a diagnosable condition. But the truth is that the just fine are walking among us every day.

Chances are one of your neighbors is fine, or you had a teacher or boss or co-worker who lived

with being okay every day. Even some celebrities are okay.

Carter Beaufort, drummer for the Dave Matthews band, is just fine. Charlotte Ray from the

Facts of Life. Renee Errand, who developed the Chicken McNugget, all have led productive lives

without being depressed or anything.

Well, let's add one more name to that list.
