So I'm a pastor in the Portland area, church called Blamette, Christian Church, kind of family of churches here in the area. And while Pauline and I've been married about 19 years with three kids, teenagers

right now. And a couple of different books. So my first book was called The Skelons of God's

Closet, which tried to help Christians who were maybe grappling with some of the tough topics

of the Christian faith, things like hell, judgment, holy war, kind of going, man, God is good,

kind of make me question. Is he really good if these things are true? And so the premise of that one was

just going like, you're trying to offer some paradigm shifts for going, there's some caricatures out there

of how we can tend to think of God when it comes to these topics. So trying to reclaim a healthier,

biblical, historic, kind of robust understanding where we go, oh, God is good, not in spite of these topics, but even in and through them, we can see the goodness of God shining through and through. And I'd say, you know, a couple different books. And ministry since then, that's been a theme has just kind of been what I call paradigm shifts going, how do we confront some of the caricatures that are out there and reclaim a healthier, richer kind of understanding of the
