So I'm a college professor.

I teach at New York University Stern School of Business.

And many of us who teach on college campuses, we notice something going very wrong around

2014-2015, and that led me to write an article

and then a book with my friend Greg Lucianov called The Coddling of the American Mind.

He's been on.

Oh good, good.

And you know at the time we thought colleges were somehow making kids sick by teaching them bad ideas.

But a few years later we discovered, no, actually it's everyone born after 1995.

I mean not literally everyone, but the generation born after 1995.

There are rates of anxiety, depression, self-harm, and suicide

are much, much higher, 50 to 100% higher

than for the millennials.
