Hi, folks, we got an episode from The Vault today.

This was a conversation that I had with screenwriter John Spate, who wrote Prometheus and Dr. Strange.

Since then, he's written Passengers, The Mummy, he's writing the Dune adaptation, Justice League Dark.

He's writing a ton of things.

But at this point, it was really the conversation was focused on Dr. Strange.

This was originally released as part of the Nerdist Comics panel, the show I used to do.

That was a spinoff of the writer's panel, which has now transformed into the comic

book commentary, which if you like behind-the-scenes stuff, which if you're listening to

the writers panel, you do, and you read comic books, which maybe you do, go check out

released the podcast. We've had a bunch of great people already. Kelly Thompson, Joe Henderson,

Sina Grace, me, basically going through an issue of the comic

and just talking about what went into it, how it was made.

It is, you know, I used to love DVD commentaries, so it's the kind of thing that I wish existed

when I was starting out as a comics writer. But now it does.

So anyway, here's a conversation with John Spate, who, you know, he's a big deal screenwriter.

And it's also a lovely guy.

And we had a great conversation about Dr. Strange, Prometheus, a whole bunch of stuff.
