I got to witness the John Jones Gable Steven dynamic.

I got to witness that in person.

And I have to tell you, first off, it's not what I thought it was going in.

I thought that these guys both have a level of celebrity and they're both going to exploit one another, which is perfectly fine, but you just see these relationships often, and it is what it is. Those can get caught on fire someday somewhere down the road,

two years from now, which I know sounds like a really long time, but comes fast. There could be

a split up of this new dynamic, and they could be in an octagon near you facing each other.

Like, all of these things are

on the table it is not just a younger athlete and a mentor from the goat of that sport in john jones

well no wrong wrong it is that that is what it is there's nothing weird going on this This is very genuine, and I know the difference,

by the way. I've been mentored. I've done mentoring. I know that relationship. I know the push

and the pull and who is supposed to act in a certain way for professionalism, for a way to look up and aspire. Look, let's start

with John Jones, guys. John Jones, now I'm talking about the real American freestyle event.

Maybe I'm taking for granted that you guys knew that John was out there in cornering Gable.

John was wanted by this crowd in ways that I don't believe John Jones has ever felt.

Now, I realize that John has always been popular, but popular and wanted are not the same thing.
