I did not point out properly in making all these connections that Tony Mandala's sister is your mother, Mama Rosy.

When you try to explain to people from the food writers who come down from New York, this family, how do you tie all these together?

I did my best, but it's not easy.

Well, I mean, I just think that, you know, we were, you know, coming from, you know, from some civilian immigrant.

I mean, I think we were just always in our DNA to own our own little small businesses and run our small businesses.

But I was there.

I was very, very blessed.

My mother's three brothers.

You know, we're all in the restaurant business.

And I worked for all of them before I started Carabas.

And just I learned, you just, you learn the most by just emulating people, you know.

And I just looked up to them and wanted to be like them.

But, you know, the one thing about Tony, you know, I think we need to give, you know, the honor to Tony.

If it wasn't, if it really went for Tony, none of the other than, you know, Vincent or Damien probably wouldn't have been in the restaurant.
