Hey, everybody, it's Matt.

This is the 10 minute Bible Hour podcast, and this stuff on the front end is going to feel like a programming note. So some of you are going to be like, I don't care about stupid programming notes. I'm going to skip that so I can get ahead to the Bible stuff. I care about the Bible stuff. But don't skip it. They're not programming notes. I mean, a little bit they are, but they're programming notes that are going to help us make sense of the Bible. I'm setting the thing up. You got to trust me here.

This podcast has a couple of very artistic people who have helped out a whole bunch along the way.

One is my friend Bethany, who is a wildly tender-hearted, gifted, biblically minded artist who has helped develop everything about the look of all of my

stuff that I've done on the internet over the years and all of the branding that you see right

there on your computer, your device, or your car screen or whatever as you listen to this as you

drive. All of that is by her. She hand drew all of the fonts and everything, the 10-minute

Bible hours. She drew that cool lightning bolt

all of that so her idea and when she first did that she sat me down and she was like right

before I draw anything first tell me who you're talking to who do you imagine is on the other side

of this thing what kind of person do you think would listen to this? I was like, oh, that's a great question. Well, I think a lot of people who would listen to this would be people like me, people who were raised around Christian faith by good parents or maybe it didn't go as well. And we raised around church, maybe something went a little bit wrong. And then the thing, it kind of broke for a while, or we didn't take it as seriously for a while, or maybe we're a little heart-heavy or busy, or I don't know what

happened. Maybe something went wrong in our own lives, and it was our own dang fault. But at the

point in life we're at now, we really care about this, and we really care about getting a right,

and we want to understand it, and we want to study the Bible deeply for ourselves. We want to know what's going on here, and we're kind of building out our adult faith that we chose.

I think people like that are going to listen to this.

And I'm like, there, now we're done.

And I remember Bethany was like, cool, that's one.
