about the quarterbacking situation in San Francisco unfolding as we speak.

As we record this Tuesday morning, the Houston Texans are on the practice field, and guess what?

Deshaun Watson is not with them.

First time in pads this summer for the Texans and Deshawn Watson not spotted out there.

Now, we'll wait to see what the Texans say about this.

But as I was told within the past few days, Deshawn Watson essentially has been turned into the NFL's highest paid scout team safety.

team safety because the Texans don't want their former star quarterback to take snaps and risk

getting hurt. And the former star quarterback for the Texans doesn't want to risk himself getting

hurt while there are 22 pending civil lawsuits against him.

And the NFL is investigating him. And the police are investigating him. And he continues to

maintain his innocence. As all this unfolds, the Texans have to practice. And so the Sean

Watson doesn't really practice, even though he's often out there at practice.

And when he is at practice, again, that phrase again, I love it, the NFL's highest paid scout team
