Hack of the year,

specially reserved for somebody that has spent the entire year being useless or corrupt or incompetent or all of those things. So you will find out who

that is tomorrow during this very hour. Exciting news. New survey finds that Los Angeles has

overtaken New York City as the city with the largest homeless population.

How about that?

The story that came out over the weekend was from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

It was a look at the nation's homelessness.

Their number is 582,000 people nationwide counted as homeless.

Now, when you consider that L.A. itself has 42,000 in the last count, but...

Yeah, we're disproportionately represented.

Now, this story says we're at 65,000.

The county is supposedly around 70.

I know. So are they really talking about L.A. County rather than L.A. City?

It's confusing in the way people don't do their homework.

New York City's homelessness supposedly declined to less than 62,000 from nearly 78,000 in the year 20. Oh, it came here.

Overall, there was a little change in the number of homeless during the pandemic, the beginning

of the pandemic to the end. Most of, see, most of New York's homeless, though, are in shelters,

because that's the law.
