She is key in scuttling his ambassadorship nomination. In fact, if she hadn't gone to this

whistleblower organization in Washington, D.C., which then went to the United States Senate,

we might not have had the holdup that we've had for a year

and a half on this nomination because Garcetti's nomination sailed through a Senate committee.

And then Naomi got involved with this whistleblower organization and they sent a rather

detailed report to senators. And it got the attention of several of them to hold up the nomination.

She made it impossible for everyone to look the other way, because some of the story was already

out from the LA Times and the lawsuit by his driver, the LAPD officer.

But she provided with her name and her high position many more colorful details that they had to block it.

Right. So if you don't know, it was all about Rick Jacobs, the former top aide, and he was a

rainmaker for Garcetti and his future political plans and that he helped raise a lot of money.

He was in charge of that mayor's fund. Remember the mayor's fund?
