Newsom's back in town at 4.45 p.m. is going to appear with Mayor Baskon to provide an update on the I-10 freeway.

There was a rumor started by the El Segundo Times that they may actually open lanes within days that the repair work and the upgrade is going so well.

The official Cal-Tran spokeshole denied that that's the case,

but we'll see what's revealed at 445 this afternoon by Dippity Doe.

Well, you ought to listen to the interview we did

with one of the guys whose business burned down underneath the freeway.

He's been there for 14 years, sub-leasing from the owner of the Apex Company.

Nobody should be there, though.

I feel sorry for him, but you shouldn't be there.

No, he shouldn't be there.

Nobody should be conducting business with dangerous objects underneath the freeway.

He said inspectors from Caltrans, from Cal Fire, and possibly L.A. Fire Department all came by.

Everybody knew that all those businesses were down there. So Newsom's agencies were well aware what was going on.

Plus, there's been homeless people there for about eight years.

So Newsom standing around saying, well, you know, this, the owner of this Apex company is a bad actor.

It's like, no, you have boobs in Caltrans, absolute boobs and boobs at Cal Fire. should have cleared that place out 14 years ago no we sent him a piece of paper we sued them we're waiting for our day in court well we sent
