Well, we're going to return to the subject of zero bail.

This became a happening thing after all we went through in 2020.

Following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, there was this attempt to turn on the criminal justice system.

And, of course, police would defund the police, but what they tried to do with the criminal justice system, of course police with defund the police but what

they tried to do with the criminal justice system while we know all too well with the likes of

George Gascon as LA County District Attorney and one of the tenets of that was a bail.

Bail is just it's racist. It's it's unfair that people have to pay bail to stay in well.

The reason for bail is that these people, you want to hold

on to them because they could recommit. They could be serious, violent people if turned back into

society, even before they come back for their next court appearance, if they come back for the next

court appearance. So we're going to talk about the latest studies and reports on the concept of no bail with Michael Rushford,

the founder, president and chief executive officer of the Criminal Justice Legal Foundation.
