So Brian Flores, as I mentioned at the top of the show, according to the NFL networks,

Tom Pellasaro and Ian Rappaport yesterday, has signed in a contract to remain in Minnesota

if he doesn't get a head coaching job. So that crosses one hopeful off the list. It may have been a long shot, but certainly

there was some discussion in Minnesota about the possibility. We had somebody on the show yesterday

from Minnesota who said that there was a lot of belief in Minnesota that it was not a given

that he would be back as the defensive coordinator,

even if he didn't get a head coaching job.

So he's off the list, but there are others getting added to the list, and John Kime is going

to help us out with it.

It's always good to have John on the show at John underscore Kime on X.

Of course, he's covered the team from a beat standpoint longer than anybody has.

So, where are we?

Like, I was starting to make a list, John, of all of the teams that need defensive coordinators.

I mean, this is an incredibly competitive situation for defensive

coordinators. I mean, every head coaching job that's still available, they're going to need a

defensive coordinator. And then you add Dallas, right, they haven't hired one yet. Correct. Green Bay,

because they lost Halfley.

Maybe the Chargers, if they lose Minter.

Maybe the Rams, if they lose Shula.

You know, and then, you know, the Steelers, the Raiders, the Cardinals, you know, the teams that are still looking for head coaches.

The Niners just lost Sala.

And the Niners, yeah.
