Alex Spear of the Boston Globe caught up with John Henry recently, published some comments in today's Boston Globe that we've been reacting to because I think they deserve it.

And, you know, I think there's two sort of big questions right now.

Fans have about the Red Sox in the here and now, and that is, are they going to invest

in this year's team at the trade deadline?

Invest in this year's team may be sacrificed some future assets, whether those are big or small

or good or bad?

Are they going to sacrifice anything for the future to help the current team, which is once again in contention?

That's the first question.

Will they help this year's team?

And two, long term, will you sign Bogart's, Devers, and high-priced players like that?

And I think the whole tone of John Henry's comments here today are no and no, no and no.
