0:57.5	friends? It's a doozy. And not only do we talk about some of the themes from his newest book,
1:05.9	Salvation, Jesus, Mission, and ours. But I ask him a whole host of questions because I got over 200 sent in
1:14.8	from the interwebs when I said, I get to interview John Cobb on his 97th birthday. People hollered,
1:20.4	people hollered and sent in questions. And we talk about them here. But here's the thing. What you're
1:26.8	about to hear is deep joy.
1:29.7	That's what Tripp was having. Deep, deep joy. Because John Cobb, John Cobb, for me personally,
1:37.9	has been such a huge influence. I have had a bunch of big questions. Some were the ones I carried when I met
1:47.8	him intellectually, maybe around the problem of evil, understanding the incarnation, like how God
1:53.1	in the world are related, think about divine action, questions around philosophy and all that
1:56.2	kind of stuff. And then there are questions that he gave me around the threat and challenge of the ecological
2:04.0	crisis, economics, thinking about interreligious dialogue and mutual transformation and
2:09.3	things. And it's hard for me to understand who Tripp is, apart from my relationship with
