news. I love Michael Harrison, but the latest news on our industry. You may remember last year I was

really honored, really honored when Barrett Media picked me as the

2024 radio host of the year. That was huge. But they're doing the very first ever

Barrett Media Conference in New York. It's usually in a different state. First time ever will

be in New York next Wednesday and Thursday.

And I've already been made aware of two awards going to our people.

Curtis Slewa, who was just on this show, was going to receive the Lifetime Radio Achievement Award.

Couldn't think of a better guy.

And my next guest, who does a great job hosting Katz and Cosby, 5 o'clock every weekday afternoon,

as well as his 8 a.m. Blockbuster, The Cats Round Table, will receive the 2025 Barrett Media Award

for the best leader, leadership in radio in the country.

And I couldn't think of a more deserved guy than my great buddy, John Katz and Matidis.
