Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

On our last program, we began talking about our good shepherd.

This is what Jesus calls himself in John

chapter 10, and it is a wonderful illustration for us. So far, we've seen that there is a difference

between a good shepherd and a false shepherd. A good shepherd feeds the sheep, and a false

shepherd fleeces the sheep. We also learned that a good shepherd leads the sheep, and a false shepherd fleaces the sheep. We also learn that a good

shepherd leads his sheep. The sheep know his voice and follow him. A false shepherd is one who

drives the sheep. As we join our teaching today, Pastor John is relating a story about a man

who went to Israel and witnessed this difference firsthand.

Here now is Pastor John.

I was reading some time ago about one fellow that went over to Israel for the first time a number of years ago,

and he was on tour there, and he saw these sheep being driven.

And he said, hey, what is this talking to his guide?
