Summary

How does being the child of an addict affect your life?

John is joined by fitness and health coach Joe Wicks to explore the trauma from his childhood, living with addiction in the family, and switching off from social media.

The son of a father with addiction problems and a mother with severe OCD and eating disorders, Joe grew up in a chaotic environment. He explains how he used exercise to escape from troubles at home, and how getting people moving and eating healthily became his main mission in life.

On Thursday in our bonus episode The Gratitude List, Joe shares the 5 things that he is currently grateful for.
