conversation, real, fun, and yes, I asked her about her famous dad, Alan Jackson.

I'm really excited to talk to you today, Maddie. We met, and I'm sort of doing air quotes here. A few years ago, when you interviewed me for your podcast, I liked you then. I started to follow you on social media, and I had no idea about your story really at all. I think in the interview you alluded to having gone through some hard things, but you didn't go into it because you were in interviewer mode.

So, and I think whatever book we were talking about, it wasn't really, wasn't about grieving

or wasn't about grief.

So we didn't go into it.

I didn't know about it.

And I just recently found out when you were releasing a book with the same publisher as me.

And then things began to click for me.

I'd seen some things on your social media.

I didn't do a deep dive investigation, but I knew enough to know that you had lost your husband,

those kinds of things. And now here we are. And so that's just a little of our friendship
