I'm not sure there is a woman between the ages of 12 and 65 who hasn't

heard the name or seen the words of this woman somewhere on social media, a print, or even

tea towels, the one and only poet, artist, writer, musician, and all things brilliant. Morgan Harper Nichols is here for the

first time on Joe. My goodness, we have quite a conversation. I do ask her about those teetals, by the way,

and her new book, Peace is a Practice, is in a word stunning, just like all her other work. We talk about

how you actually practice peace,

how as a black woman, she's found peace in the midst of corporate and personal injustice.

And there's a part in this conversation where both of us sort of lose ourselves and talking

about retreating and finding God that was just incredibly sweet to my soul. You'll hear it.
