affectionately known as Joe, where this season it is all about truth-telling, finding the good,

and showing up for our lives today no matter what has happened, even yesterday.

Thrilled to welcome Heather Thompson Day to Joe. Someone I actually

have just met to interview for this show, but quickly connected with on multiple levels.

Heather is an interdenominational speaker and contributor for Religion News Service, Newsweek,

and the Barner Group. She is an associate professor of communication at Colorado Christian University,

and she's just written a new book called It's Not Your Turn, What to Do While You Are Waiting for

your breakthrough. Waiting is so tough for us, all of us, really, and I wrote about waiting

in the hard good because it is one of those things that is so difficult, and yet God can use

to spiritually transform us

if we will let him. Heather gives us such important and rich thoughts on waiting. I really believe

if this is the place you find yourself right now, this show is made for you.

So this is super fun for me because it's rare when I have someone on that I truly do not know except for from Twitter.

It is absolutely our story well this one we're

sticking to at least but but yeah I think I met you like kind of on Twitter and to me I am

selective with my Twitter people that I want to follow and hear from because otherwise what do we get? We get a lot of

a lot. So I found you to be interesting and compelling and also very reasoned. So that's kind of why

I started following you. Just FYI. Thank you. You know, I am not selective with my Twitter follows.
