How do you love people while not endorsing their beliefs? Is this even possible?

Something I am really passionate about that probably bugs some folks because I talk about it a lot

is believers not being lazy. This includes me when it comes to our faith. Because there are things in following

Jesus that are close, but not in line with the Bible, which makes them 100% incorrect, no matter

how close they seem. There are differences that seem slight, but are actually important

distinctions. So I want to get into those today and particularly this one,

loving people versus endorsing their beliefs. It's a big one. Let's go.

Okay, so I'm going to say some words, some couplings of words that I think we often misunderstand.

Judgment and accountability.

Love and endorsement.

Conviction and legalism.

Passion and action.

These are some things that sound very close, but with each of them,

they bring some differences, some important differences. Judging someone is not the same as

holding someone accountable. Having convictions is not the same as being legalistic. Being passionate

about something doesn't necessarily mean you ever take action
