to be a news anchor and we can basically thank your husband Sheldon for that because he's the one

who really prompt you to take the job, right? Absolutely did. And you know, you know, I talk about this in the book

that if you grow up in the church or in a Christian household or, you know, these kinds of things,

you hear these lessons all the time about wives submit to your husbands and, you know, you know,

you tuck it around back in there someday and you're like, sure, I believe that. Until I came to this

impasse in the one time in our marriage of 23, almost 24

years where we could not reach a compromise on something because normally you can find some way

to get there. And this was a situation where I lost my job in Florida and I took months and months

and months down the road. I finally at the same time was offered an anchoring job in

West Palm Beach, Florida, my home state, sunny, beautiful, no shoveling of snow. I wanted to stay there.

And Charlotte, North Carolina, which was kind of a midpoint between my family and Sheldon, my husband's

family and his in-laws. He thought it would be a wonderful city, a great career move, and put us in a more approximate,

you know, reach of getting to his family a little bit more often. And I just wanted this job
