Amazon is worth more than the majority of countries on earth, and you don't get that much money by being charitable. That doesn't necessarily mean they're bad for the economy. You just have to know how to maneuver yourself so they accidentally make you richer. And speaking of people getting rich, there have been an awful lot of recounts lately.
