The Bengals have lost four games in a row without Joe Burrow, and that's really bad.

But Joe Flacco showed that he's an upgrade at the quarterback position.

And bringing in Joe Flacco seems to be a step in the right direction and things aren't good.

Don't get me wrong. It's not like everything is fine now, but we'll talk about that step in the

And James, it was an ugly first half for the most part, end to zero at the half, not what you want.

Unable to crack the scoring column was this offense in the first half.

But the defense started out with a takeaway.

They forced to punt early.

Then the second half, you start to see some signs of life from the offense, which is

crucial and necessary.

And this made-over defense that now no longer features Logan Wilson and linebacker, kind

of wilts it in the second half.

So complimentary football, not really there for this team today,

but despite the loss, I think you and I both expected this game to go probably quite a bit worse
