So did you see Tim Poole's commentary on Squid Game? I did not enlighten me. So for those that don't know who Tim Poole is, he's just this like right wing conservative commentator who loves to do the griff that like, I'm a disenfranchised liberal that is now turning to the right wing because it just makes more sense. And I love the free market and a mixed economy, yada, yada. Agreed. So Tim, wait, what? Agreed. So Tim Poole, he did this video or like podcast, whatever he does, Timcast, IRL on, he did a section on Squid Game. And for those that don't know, that haven't watched it if you like live under a rock or something, Squid Game is this very popular show on Netflix that's all about how people go into debt and then they sign up for

this game where it's basically life or death and most of people are going to die. It's like a reality show TV or like a reality TV show game where you compete against other people and try to win the prize money at the end. Kind of like hunger games, but more real world, more capitalism critique. Right.

When you lose, you die, basically.

And we won't spoil anything.

But Dimple's critique was that Squid Game is more of a commentary on communism rather than

capitalism.

How?

The whole show is like heightening the contradiction.

It's heightening the idea that, no, you do not consent to work. Like,

you're being forced to work by the structural violence that is poverty. And it takes that

idea to the most extreme form. Yeah. First of all, one of the people on his show was like,

I don't think Squid Game is inherently political, which is like, bro, what? Are we watching the same show? Right. Like, what delusional world do you live in? And then he went on to say that because when everyone comes into the game, they wear the same clothes, eat the same food. They're all treated as equals. And they all die in the end. And one person gets all the money after the show is over. He says that's communism and it's a critique on what communism would be.

Dude, how did these motherfuckers like, I don't even know like what to say.

It completely ignores the conditions that force these people to go into a situation where they felt like
