Summary

An original short story commissioned by BBC Radio 4 from Northern Irish writer Tara West. Read by Julia Dearden. Tara West is a novelist and Creative Writing Lecturer at Queen’s University Belfast. She is the author of novels Fodder and Poets Are Eaten as a Delicacy in Japan as well as the memoir The Upside of Down. She has short stories published in The Glass Shore and Female Lines. She was part of BBC Writersroom Belfast Voices 2020/21. She won an RTÉ Storyland commission for her first drama ‘The Good Christian Women’s Writing Group’ for which she was nominated for the Royal Television Society’s Debut Writer Award.
