I have a very special guest. His name is Paul Wilde. Last name is spelled W-Y-L-D. He's just published a book. I read through it today.

I really enjoyed reading it. Much different biography in the best way possible than a, like, the typical biographies I read.

is Jim Morrison, Secret Teacher of the Occult, A Journey to the Other Side. And I caught this

a live stream on X, and that's how this book came to my attention, was he was

taught. I caught the last half of the interview he did with Steve Cambrian, I think, was his last

name. Really good interview, and I was like, oh, wow, this is interesting. I love Jim Morrison.

I like the music, but I was much more interested in his poetic style. And I didn't

know a lot about his background and his influences. And I learned a lot of that in this book.

And so I'm delighted to have Paul Wilde on the show. So Paul, welcome to the show.

Thank you for having me. For people who may not have heard your name or I know this is your first

book. Can you talk about your background book. Can you, can you talk about

your background and kind of, I know you talk about this in the book, what led you up to put

together this book, Jim Morrickson, secret teacher of the occult? Sure. So, in writing this book,

by the time I came to doing the research and all that, I grew up in Miami,

I had always been a Doors fan. So I knew all the lyrics. I'm very familiar with all the poetry.

I've seen the experimental films that he makes. And I've always loved the doors like everybody else.

I've always felt like everybody else that he's more than just a rock star,

that there's something going on with this person,

that there's a lot more than meets the eye with Jim Morrison.
