also you, we just clarified this, you were the author of 12 novels slash essay collections.

Yes. And a children's book in there too. Oh, what children's book? It's called Pirates

and Princesses. It was very ahead of its time because it was about gender and it's like

15 years old. But that girls could be pirates and boys could be princesses. Is it out there

somewhere? It's still a lot of children's. Yeah, I really, I wrote it with my daughter. Oh,

my, oh, that's very cute. Yeah. And how would she name that to her class? 17. Oh, wow. Yeah.

She was in third grade when that came out. She's going off to college. She's, no, she's

a junior. We have one more year before before college. Yeah. So you obviously a New Yorker.

Did you see porn and raised? Do not know how to drive burst into flames when I go anywhere.

I'm sure we both love Jerry Seinfeld's Times piece. So you think you know his dad?

I got really upset when I someone forwarded me. The New York is dead thing. And I just,

that was, so that was written by James Altature who is a comedy club owner, right? Yes.

I wasn't familiar with him, to be honest, but I just feel like a real New Yorker would never

say something like that because I grew up in the 70s. It was bankrupt here. The trains were

covered in graffiti. I always walked around like having to have my guard up. I was a very

street smart kid. And I went everywhere alone at eight. And there were no cell phones back there.

But I, you know, back then, and I would take the cross town bus to tower records and spend my

allowance on the New Yaz album. And I just busted around all over the place by myself. And I just
