Okay, so the breaking news is this. Michael Russo yesterday of the Athletic came out with a story that Judd Brackett was going to be departing the Wild.

And, of course, he ran their scouting department.

He did not have an assistant GM title.

But I would say among Wild executives, he was probably one of the most well-known since he got here from the Vancouver Canucks in 2020.

Well, he had departed and this morning the news comes out that he has been named an assistant GM for the Toronto Maple Leafs who are obviously redoing their hockey operations department.

And I think at first you might say, oh, no, that's a huge loss.

And look, I think it probably is.
