We continued to see last night the development of an offense that can be very, very special for the New York Jets.

And one of the things that's making it so special is the running back tandem of Bries Hall and Braylin Allen.

And there were times yesterday, I admit this,

and I'm a Briece Hall guy, I was wearing the Briece Hall jersey

at the game last night where I wanted the ball in the hands of Braylin Allen.

He is a punishing runner.

And I understand, so Tiki said before the break and you certainly

experienced this in the league and I believe you but I'm going to be skeptical because I'm a human

that two running backs are not going to have any kind of like I want the touches

no I want the touches that it actually benefits them because it's like a good

competition it is there isn't any part of you that says I love my guy but I want the ball.

So this happened in 2000 for me.

Giants drafted Ron Dane.

Right.

It was different circumstances because I wasn't really that good at that point. I mean it's a good third down back but I wasn't the guy so they draft the

Heisman Trophy all-time leading Russia in college football history and will always be

because the number is ridiculous how many yards he rushed for in college and the idea was to

replace me and it motivated me now it helped the Sean Payton change our

office a little bit it became more into the what we see now with all the pass out of the back field

lining up as a wide receiver but that year it was my first thousand yard

season but Ron Dane also rushed for seven hundred yards and so collectively we lifted each other and to this day we're really close friends and so it never felt like a competition.

It felt like whichever one of us is hot, let's go.
