Ben Johnson, the offensive coordinator that a year ago we thought was going to be Washington's coach is now the Chicago Bears coach. I'll admit it.

Shed a little tear. Had a little like solitary single tier, Jory. I thought he's going to be headed to my beloved Raiders.

It's not the case. The Bears get him. He talked to the world today. Your immediate thoughts on Ben Johnson to the Bears. Yeah, kudos to the Bears for getting this done.

I do think people wondered, hey, when you look at the front office dynamic, when you look at just the Bears franchise history and how many struggles they've had, would a coach like

Ben Johnson who had multiple options want to go there?

But ultimately, as Ben Johnson said in his introductory press conference on Wednesday,

Caleb Williams was a huge factor and why he wanted to go there. I mean, there are so many teams around the league that have

quarterback limitations. And Ben Johnson, who's very analytics and trend focus, said that when he

looks at the analytics today, quarterback success is even more predictive of whether a team will

win than the turnover ratio, which is a huge one in NFL circles. And I thought that was really

interesting. So within the first 24 hours of signing his deal, he had already talked to Caleb Williams

about some areas of the game that he thought Caleb could improve on from his rookie to sophomore year.
